Simone Ashley, who trained at the Arts Ed school in Chiswick, has landed a lead role in the highly anticipated second series of Netflix's Bridgerton, playing the part of Kate Sharma, starring opposite Jonathan Bailey as his character's new love interest.

The 25 year old actress kickstarted her career appearing in BBC series Wolfblood, before going on to star as Olivia in Sex Education and Elise Fox in ITV drama The Sister last year.
